February PAC News!

Good morning!

Here is some information from the PAC about some upcoming events and opportunities for parents to get involved in!

Missoula – Missoula auditions are set to start on Monday February 27th after school at 3:10pm. Auditions last 2 hours so your child needs to stay for the whole audition. Unfortunately there may not be enough spots for every child in the show, so please speak to your child before they audition to explain that they may not make it in this time but that they can try next year.
At 5:10pm when the audition is done, some of the children will need dinner and then will stay for a 2 hour rehearsal and some children will go home. Please be prepared to feed your child dinner after the audition in case they need to stay.
The full schedule will be given out Monday after the audition. Contact arndrea@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Playground Committee – The PAC in November 2016 voted to raise funds for another playground at GHE to accommodate the amount of children we now have at the school.
The PAC is looking for parents to join this committee and someone to spearhead the committee. This project would include looking for quotes, applying for grants, and updating the school on the progress of the playground. Please email Darnell Waite if you would like to join this committee. It will begin in the spring. darnellwaite@mac.com

Garden Club – We are looking for a few parents who might like to start and help with a garden club after school in the spring. Please email arndrea@gmail.com if you are interested.

Chess Club – We are looking for a few parents who might like to start ad help create an after school or lunch time chess club. Please email arndrea@gmail.com if you are interested.
