November

Posted on Updated on

It is always interesting how quickly our focus changes with the changing of the months.  Now that Halloween is over, we are quickly re-focusing on the themes of next month and a half and there are some big events to look forward too including our annual Christmas Craft Fair, and of course our holiday concerts.  On Wednesday, Nov 12 we will be holding our special Remembrance Day Assembly.  Parents are welcome to attend and it will begin at 11:00 am.

This week, on Thursday, the fire department will be here to make a presentation on fire safety to all students in grades 1-3.  This will take place in the gymnasium.  You can expect your child to be asking some questions about your family’s plans for a fire emergency.  Kindergarten students will have their own presentation at a later date.

This Friday, Nov 7, all teachers, principals and most support staff will be attending a special learning session on our district’s education plan, Pathways to Learning.  Schools are closed on Nov 10, and Nov 11.

Have a great week!
